Recently, the research team of Professor Guo Zhiqian from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering, ECUST, and the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education has made important progress in the frontier basic and applied research of high-performance near-infrared dyes, and the related research results have been published in German Applied Chemistry, Chemical Science and Coordination Chemistry Review respectively.

    The above research work was mainly completed by Masters students Ma Yiyu, Wang Ruofei, and Yan Chenxu, a Postdoctoral fellow, under the supervision of Academician Tian He and Professor Zhu Weihong.The research was funded by the Frontier Science Center of the Ministry of Education of Materials Biology and Dynamic Chemistry, the Basic Science Center Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Shanghai Major Special Project Foundation, and the Shanghai Scientific Research Innovation Plan.
